Biography

Laura J. Coirier is an assistant professor of science education and assessment coordinator for the science education concentration in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at National-Louis University . She founded the university's partnership with Adventures in Museums and serves as lead faculty member. She is also the lead science education faculty for NLU's partnership with Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL). Coirier initiated the  Chicago Math and Science Initiative [C(M+S)I] Grant and is the lead science education  faculty. She is Center for Professional Development museum leader and handles course approvals. 

Coirier regularly develops workshops with outside educational partners. She is committed to excellence in education for everyone, in a community of learners.
