NLU takes first in Arlington Heights parade
National-Louis University won first place for creativity for its float in this year’s Arlington Heights 4th of July parade, one of the largest in Chicago’s suburbs. The theme of the parade was "Abraham Lincoln - 200 Years of Pioneering Illinois." NLU will receive a plaque and ribbon, which will be displayed in the Wheeling campus.
NLU faculty and staff who created this year’s float and participated in the parade include Cindy Bogenholm, Matt Cira, Jerry Dachs, Vladimir Ladygin, Marty Mickey, Barbra Moore, Linda Lotton, Elsie Piatek and Mary Szajna.
