Introducing Eagle Bucks, a New Way to Educate, Engage, and Earn Rewards at NLU!

We are so excited to announce our New Eagle Bucks Program!
The Office of Student Engagement is piloting a new incentive program to help encourage involvement and increase participation in NLU programs and events. Students have the opportunity to earn up to $25 in “Eagle Bucks” by attending events, both on-campus and online. Eagle Bucks can be used to purchase NLU Gear at the NLU Store or purchase treats at the Daily Grind. This pilot program begins with the start of the Winter term on January 20, 2022 and run through the conclusion of the Spring term on June 19, 2022.
“We are so excited about how the Eagle Bucks program will help to increase engagement for events but also create a stronger affinity between the institution and students,” said Marquece Holifield, Director of Student Engagement at NLU.
Maya Sanchez, a current NLU student, feels similarly. “I feel like due to covid, many students struggle to go to events and this is a great way to encourage them to come to an event when they get the chance to!”

- If the event planner does not check in students to an event via Eagle Life, students will not receive credit for attendance. As such, it is important to do this.
- When doing virtual events, please take attendance using the chat asking students to record their name and student ID.
- Please save all zoom chats and you can manually add attendance to your Eagle Life events for those who don’t sign up in Eagle Life.
