National Louis University's Undergraduate College is proud to support Eagle Talk, its student-run podcast! Eagle Talk is recorded at NLU's 122 S. Michigan Campus in downtown Chicago, and the station is run and produced by students in the B.A. in Communication & Media and the B.A. in Marketing programs. Enjoy interviews and chats with students, graduates, faculty, staff, and special guests! On Eagle Talk, you will hear a variety of voices from NLU's undergraduate community and beyond.

Spring Break, Stress & Student Well-Being

What does spring break actually do to college students’ mental health? In this episode, I talk with Melanie Blanton, a wellness counselor at NLU, about the emotional highs and lows students experience during break. We discuss social pressure, financial barriers, loneliness, returning home, and the anxiety that can come after the break ends, plus practical ways students can take care of themselves through it all.
