Building Tomorrow: A Look at Our Exciting 2025 Renovations

National Louis University is stepping into 2025 with a bold vision of innovation and student-centered design. Our upcoming renovation projects are set to revolutionize the way students, faculty, and staff experience our Chicago campuses, starting with a major transformation of our 122 S. Michigan Ave. building.
Beginning December 2nd, we're reimagining the 2nd floor of our Michigan Avenue location. The most exciting change is our comprehensive Student Service Center that brings together all critical student support services into one convenient space.
We're thrilled to announce that our consolidated services will bring admissions, registrar, advising, enrollment, student finance, and career services together in a single, easily accessible area. Students will also enjoy new open seating near the Michigan Avenue windows, creating a welcoming environment perfect for meeting, studying, and connecting with peers. To make the space even more inviting, we're relocating "The Daily Grind" coffee shop and "Shop@NLU" to this floor, making it easier than ever to grab a coffee, snack, or some university merchandise.
During this exciting transformation, we've carefully planned to minimize disruptions to your daily routine. A portion of the 2nd floor will remain accessible throughout construction, and you'll still be able to use the atrium. While ID scanning stations may temporarily move to the building lobby, we're ensuring all essential services remain available. Some departments will see temporary relocations – Institutional Advancement will move to the 2nd floor of 18 South Michigan building, while Student Finance will occupy the previous Advancement Office space.
But this is just the beginning! The 2nd-floor renovation is the first of three exciting campus improvement projects planned for 2025. We're also developing event and cafeteria space on the 12th floor of 18 South Michigan Avenue building and upgrading the entryway at our Wheeling campus.
At National Louis University, we're committed to creating facilities that inspire learning and provide an exceptional campus experience. We expect to complete this transformation by late March 2025.
During the initial renovation period, we recommend allowing a few extra minutes for your campus commute.
Stay tuned for more updates, and get ready to experience the new face of National Louis University! We can't wait to share this journey with you as we create a more vibrant and connected campus community.
