In celebration of 140 years of impact, this year’s Connection theme — The Power of 140 — honors the legacy, innovation, and community that define National Louis University. As we reflect on more than a century of transformative work, we also look ahead to the ideas and practices shaping NLU’s future.

The University invites faculty and staff to share how your program, department, or team is contributing to that ongoing legacy. Whether you’re reimagining instruction, improving student experience, advancing equity, or building community partnerships, we want to spotlight the powerful work happening across the University.

Submit a proposal to present your Powerful Practices — a short, engaging charette that highlights how your efforts are carrying forward the spirit of NLU: bold, student-centered, and rooted in purpose.

Powerful Practices will be presented on Thursday, September 11, 2025, during the Connection event. Additional opportunities may be offered later in the academic year.
