Quality Matters (QM)
All courses at NLU are QM certified. As new courses are created, or courses are revised, they need a QM review. NLU is looking for QM reviewers to help with this process. To conduct a QM review, one must be certified as a QM peer reviewer. Learn more about that process below. QM reviewers can also assist other institutions with QM reviews.
Becoming a QM Peer Reviewer
- You must complete two courses to become a QM reviewer:
- Applying the Rubric
- The Peer Reviewer Course.
- Each course is $220.
- FT Faculty can use a portion of their PD budget ($1000) to pay for these courses.
- FT Faculty or Adjunct Faculty can also be sponsored to complete these courses.
- In exchange for covering the cost of the courses, faculty that NLU sponsors for these courses will complete three QM peer reviews for NLU.
For more information about signing up for a course, please contact CTLE@nl.edu.
