William Calderon, Technology Services Manager
William is housed in our main Chicago campus providing quality support the NLU community. His favorite moments interacting with the Staff and Faculty here at NLU and he loves how everyone is very nice and friendly at NLU. He is deeply passionate about the Culinary and loves exploring new flavors and creating his own dishes. On his free time, Will to play online game with his friends and supporting his favorite sports teams. Go White Sox!
Carlos Miranda Gomez, Technical Support Specialist
Carlos has been a fixture providing quality support to our Wheeling Campus. He enjoys the troubleshooting aspect of his position and loves the feeling of coming across and new issue and learning new ways to tackle the problem. He especially enjoys the interactions he was with the students and staff of NLU and teaching them new ways to resolve their current tech needs. He is passionate about staying active and consistently improving himself. On his free time, he loves spending time relaxing with his family and playing soccer or working out with his friends.
Omar De La Torre, Technical Support Specialist
Omar graduated from National Louis University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Systems. During his time here, he worked as a Student Ambassador with the enrollment department and helped transition prospective high school students into NLU Eagles. He has transitioned his love for helping students and staff to return to NLU and working with the LITS department. Omar loves watching movies and shows and what goes into creating them, music and playing instruments, and gaming/esports in his spare time.
Omar Ocampo, Technical Support Specialist
Omar O. joined the NLU Tech team in Summer of 2023 and has providing support to the Gage campus. He loves interacting with the Gage employees and solving problems that affect our overarching tech goals for each academic year and enjoys collaborating with his tech partner Kenji to manage the day-to-day needs of our Gage campus. His passions include learning about World History, immersing himself in Movie Culture, and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights! On his free time, Daniel likes to find rare Video Games to add to his collection, watching through is Anime Watchlist, and finding new and delicious restaurants.
Jesse Nieto, Technical Support Specialist
Jesse first joined the NLU tech team through the Genesys program during his senior year in high school decided to enroll into NLU into the CSIS program. He loves seeing how happy people get after he has helped them resolve their issue and enjoys learning new things that can help him with his daily work. He is deeply passionate about music and technology. On his spare time Jesse loves to play video games, playing guitar, listening to music and working out.
Sindi Cekrezi, IT Support
Sindi joined the NLU LITS team in 2021 and has been instrumental to our onsite support. She loves helping her fellow NLU Student and Staff members and values the experience she gets from handling IT related cases and enjoys tackling new challenges that requires her to use critical thinking and problem skills to overcome. Sindi is deeply passionate about Music and loves exploring the city by taking long walks soaking in the local culture. She spends most of her freetime hanging out with her friends and shopping as they travel to new destinations.
