NCE Candid Conversation: Social and Emotional Learning in Remote Classrooms
This candid conversation focuses on social and emotional learning, why it is important, and what teachers can do to promote, strengthen, and sustain social and emotional learning practices in remote learning environments. The panel, featuring NCE Faculty and Students, will discuss findings from the 2020 Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ILASCD) Social-Emotional Learning Virtual Summit. Panel and Discussants: NCE Faculty members Ayn Keneman (early childhood education), Jack Denny (secondary education), Kathy Pluymert (advanced programs), Lee Tate (early childhood education), special education teacher Kelly Grudzinski, and more.
