2021 NLU Doctoral Research Symposium

The annual NLU Doctoral Research Symposium showcases the thought-leadership and achievement of National Louis University’s doctoral students and recent graduates. Held virtually via zoom, this year the symposium took place on May 4, 2021 and was the largest symposium to date. With a keynote panel discussion, thirty-two breakout session presentations and thirty-nine virtual posters, it was certainly a bustling and celebratory evening.

Kicking off the event, Provost Saib Othman announced NLU’s new Outstanding Dissertation Awards to recognize excellence in four categories:

-Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

-Innovative research design

-Advancing professional practice

-Community impact and capacity
