Undergraduate Industry Advisory Council

Goals

• Ensure alignment of curriculum to current and evolving labor market needs
• Grow employer partners
• Strengthen real-time feedback loop between industry and our faculty and students
• Build brand awareness of NLU.

Purpose

The purpose of convening our Industry Advisory Council is to provide constructive and creative feedback to strengthen program curriculum by means of industry experts sharing market-relevant perspectives; provide a future forward lens of the industry; and recommend industry competencies to prepare students for employment in the field.

IAC members are not elected but rather, are thought partners. There is no formal time commitment required, but we ask our members to serve on the Council for a year. This would include 2-3 meetings running approximately 90 minutes each. No financial contributions will be asked or expected.
