Policies and Procedures for Conducting Research
This resource document lists criteria for ethical research based upon the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 45, Public Welfare, Part 46, Protection of Human Subjects (revised Oct 1, 1997). It provides important information regarding safeguards for participants, vulnerable populations, and informed consent. It also outlines the essential principles and guidelines for ethical research, adapted from the Belmont Report in October 2001, .
