Academic Accommodations in Subsequent Terms 

While a student remains an active (continuously enrolled with no interruption greater than an academic year), they will only need to complete the Accommodation Request Form once, and simply need to request continuation of their accommodations each subsequent term.

Before each term begins, communication from Disability and Access Services will be sent out to all active students receiving accommodation through students’ NLU emails asking them to affirm their continuation of accommodations. Students must respond to this communication stating that you are interested in having accommodations for the next term in order to continue your accommodations.

If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you are no longer interested in receiving accommodations with our office and an Accommodations Letter will not go out for the subsequent term.
