Credit by Credential

National Louis University acknowledges specific credentials (including licenses, certifications, professional trainings, and open courses) as eligible for college-level credit consideration in our applicable undergraduate and graduate programs. 

Here is NLU's current Credit by Credential List that have been approved by faculty and university leadership for specific program(s). 

Do you have a current/active version of one these credentials? Check out these next steps! 

1. Consult with your Academic Advisor or Success Coach to assess whether or not the credit earned via Credit by Credential would apply to your degree requirements.
2. Consult with NLU's Student Finance team to assess whether doing Credit by Credential would impact your financial aid.
3. Submit your Credit by Credentials Application here!
