The following undergraduate courses are designed for undergraduate students in any major. Students who take at least three 5QH courses from the list below will qualify for a concentration in Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals & Applications.
Library faculty can support faculty across colleges with the following:
- Curriculum development in AI literacy and information literacy, including AI fundamentals, critical evaluation of AI outputs, AI and academic research, and citing AI tools. This might include:
- Assistance with developing learning outcomes and scaffolding concepts across programs & courses
- Partnering with SMEs to develop learning materials, activities, assignments, and assessments that address particular outcomes
- Class visits to provide a guest lecture or facilitate discussions with students
- Academic integrity consultations

- AI Navigator: Have a question about AI at NLU? The NLU AI Navigator is an AI assistant for NLU faculty and staff, designed to help them find information on AI tools, resources, and guidelines.
- AI and Your Class: The Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence offers resources on AI basics, setting AI expectations, using AI detectors, and using AI tools to support your teaching.
- Academic Honesty policy and guidance: Review NLU’s policy on academic honesty and related guidance for applying this policy in the classroom.
