Antonina Lukenchuk
Professor, School of Advanced Professional Programs, National College of Education (NCE). Dr. Lukenchuk specializes in preparing teacher candidates to apply the knowledge of educational foundations and teacher inquiry to their professional practice. Dr. Lukenchuk brings a wealth of her expertise in paradigms of research and qualitative research methods to share with doctoral students pursuing degrees in curriculum, advocacy, and policy; disability and equity studies; reading, literacy, and language; and higher education leadership. Dr. Lukenchuk has been pursuing research and scholarly interests in the philosophy of education, paradigms of research, qualitative research methods, service-learning, online and blended education, and international and cross-cultural issues in higher education. Dr. Lukenchuk has been conducting workshops and seminars on the pedagogy of service-learning, paradigms of research, and qualitative research in several Midwestern universities and internationally. Antonina’s recent publications include two books published with Peter Lang: Paradigms of Research for the 21st century: Perspectives and Examples from Practice (2013) and Outliving Your Dissertation: A Guide for Students and Faculty (2017).

Elizabeth Minor
Associate Professor, Educational Leadership; Program Chair, M.Ed/Ed.S Educational Leadership.
Dr. Minor specializes in educational research, data use, and sociology of education. She teaches courses in Educational Leadership, which focus on research methods and change leadership. Elizabeth (Covay) Minor's research focuses on inequality in student opportunities to learn and how social context is related to differences in access to, returns to, and experiences within student opportunities to learn. Following the completion of her PhD, she was selected for an IES Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Before coming to National Louis, Beth worked as the Research Director for the Michigan Consortium for Educational Research at Michigan State University evaluating the Michigan Merit Curriculum. She also serves on the editorial board for the American Educational Research Journal.

Carol Burg
Associate Professor, Educational Leadership. Carol’s professional foci include school leadership, and change / school turnaround leadership; qualitative research; arts-based educational research; and doctoral student education and mentoring. For over 20 years, Carol A. Burg has served the National Louis University Florida Regional Center in various leadership capacities such as Florida EDL Doctoral Program Director, as well as teaching various educational leadership, education policy, curriculum, and research courses within the Educational Leadership (EDL) and Teaching Learning & Assessment (TLA) graduate programs. Carol serves on the panel of reviewers for several journals: The Qualitative Report (Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Teacher Education Quarterly (University of the Pacific, CA), The International Journal of Critical Pedagogy (Montreal, Canada), The International Journal of Mentoring and Coaching in Education(UK), and Mentoring & Tutoring: Partnership in Learning (UK).

Leslie Katch
Associate Professor and Program Coordinator, Early Childhood Administration Master’s Program. Dr. Katch conducts research on infant regulation, parenting self-efficacy, and the relationship between father well-being and infant crying and fussing. Her clinical work has focused on families concerned about their infant’s behavior. She currently provides consultation for infant/toddler programs in Chicago. Dr. Katch’s areas of expertise and research interest include: Infant/toddler development; parent-infant relationships; infant crying and regulatory disorders; father involvement and transition to fatherhood; early childhood program development; and infant mental health, among others.

Meenakshi Mohan
Dr. Meenakshi Mohan is an educator, freelance writer, art critic, book reviewer, children’s writer, painter, and a poet. She has taught at universities including Roosevelt University and National-Louis University, both in Chicago; Wheelock College in Boston; and Towson University in Maryland. She has been listed twice in the Who is Who Among American Teachers. She is currently on the Advisory Committee of the Montgomery County Library System in its Potomac, Maryland branch. Her articles are published on a regular basis in several journals including Confluence UK and i.e.: Inquiry in Education of National Louis University, Illinois. She has published two children’s books, The Gift, and, The Rainbow in My Room, edited and published Tamam Shud: Poems in English, Hindi, Urdu by Kshitij Mohan. She did extensive research in Motivational Learning and Art Integrated Curriculum and developed a model for Motivational Ladder. She has been involved with different organizations including NAEYC, ASCD, and presented in many seminars and workshops related to teaching young children in creative ways. She was recently interviewed by a local TV in the DC area on her research on Art Integrated Curriculum and its Effects on Children’s Motivational Learning.
Meenakshi has been involved in many NGO programs to sponsor student scholarship for deprived students, and for women’s education e.g. Muskan, Upakar Foundation and Karuna Charities. She recently had a solo exhibit of her paintings in Potomac, Maryland. Most of her paintings are in private collections. She has been featured in the Avenel Living, and Potomac Life Style. She loves to travel, write, and paint.
Dr. Mohan earned her doctoral degree from Roosevelt University, Chicago, in Educational Administration with a focus in Early Childhood Education.
