Excellence in Online and Remote Teaching
Excellence in Online and Remote Teaching (EORT), a development opportunity for all faculty at National Louis University, features asynchronous, interactive modules (in D2L) and resources accessed below that address the nuts and bolts of online and remote teaching. This information is designed as hands-on, just-in-time learning experiences that result in tangible, usable strategies that can be immediately implemented into your teaching practice. This material directly maps to our Teaching Excellence Framework domains: Subject Matter Guide, Designer and Teacher, Community Builder.
Each asynchronous learning module below will take no more than 2 to 3 hours to complete and is designed to be stand-alone, so you can engage with the modules in a timeframe that works for your schedule. Each module contains three pages of material. At the end of each page, you will find a check-in. Each check-in will help ensure that you are getting the most out of the content. The Director of Online Operations will be able to see these responses and may use them as touch points during your first term observation.
Once you complete the modules, please complete the EORT Final Check-in. This will notify the Director of Online Operations that you have completed the modules.
