Donna DiMatteo-Gibson, PhD

Biography: My name is Donna DiMatteo-Gibson. I received my Bachelors of Arts in both Speech Communications and Psychology from the University of San Diego. I also have obtained two masters of science degrees in the areas of psychology and industrial-organizational psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) which is now called Alliant International University. In June of 1999, I graduated from CSPP with a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. My dissertation is titled " Career mobility, commitment and satisfaction: A comparative study of male and female law school graduates." I studied the job mobility patterns, career commitment and job satisfaction of male and female law school graduates in a variety of legal jobs. 

Currently, I live in Los Angeles, California. I am working as a Management Consultant. My job responsibilities include research and data analysis, process improvement and customer satisfaction. I have been fortunate that my past work experience has been very enjoyable and challenging. I have worked in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, computer, biotech, and government. I have been teaching online graduate and undergraduate courses since 2001 and enjoy it immensely! I have created many courses and online programs focusing on how to build engaging courses and programs!  I often make professional presentations on topics, such as organizational effectiveness and distance learning at SIOP, NITOP and AACE.
