Biography: Brian Hamluk joined National Louis University in 2016 as an adjunct faculty member after 20 years of experience working in Higher Education at Syracuse University, The George Washington University, and the University of Pittsburgh. His past experiences include administrative positions and responsibilities in student affairs, student discipline, student retention, community relations, intercollegiate athletics and intramurals/recreation, business operations, human resources, legal issues, and more. Currently, he serves as the Director of Administration for the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.

Hamluk has delivered over 30 national presentations at numerous conferences including NASPA: Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education, ACPA: College Student Educators International, National Association for Campus Activities, Annual Conference on the First-Year Experience, the United States Department of Education’s National Conference on Alcohol and other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention in Higher Education, and the Association for Student Conduct Administration, among others. 

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is an avid sports fan, particularly college sports. He also enjoys to travel the United States, making frequent visits to college campuses across the country.
