Biography

Scott Kremers is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business and Information Technology at National-Louis University (NLU). He has been at NLU since 2008. Mr. Kremers teaches courses in Economics, Finance, and Project Management in the MBA Program. Mr. Kremers has also published an online introductory course on Project Management Fundamentals. 

Mr. Kremers has earned the designation of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) as designated by the Scrum Alliance.

Mr. Kremers has worked at several Fintech and HRtech startups in Chicago and is currently working with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBC) where he leads a team of software engineers to support the Bank's Middle Office and Risk Management systems.

Professor Kremers received the M.B.A. from University of Michigan (Ross) and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Calvin University.

Teaching philosophy:To connect content to real world events to which students can relate. I start most classes with current events and tie them to the concepts and topics to be discussed in class that day. I have published an online introductory course in Project Management. I have also taught at Aurora University, Columbia College (Chicago), and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
