Mission Statement:

National Louis University’s Learning Support department is committed to empowering English Language Learners with the tools necessary to thrive inside and outside the classroom. We aim to enable every student to succeed academically, develop confident communication skills, and become lifelong learners who contribute positively to a global society. We view additional languages as an asset and create an environment where multilingualism is celebrated for domestic and international students alike.  In addition to general learning support, some of our specific assistance includes:

• Practice pronunciation and fluency in both academic and social settings.
• Consult on Writing with attention to English grammar and vocabulary. 
• Deliver workshops specific to the needs of English Language Learners. 
• Share resources for English Language Learning.
