Learning Support Peer Tutors

Under the supervision of the department, our peer tutors are trained in active listening, questioning, and modeling techniques. They provide supplemental instruction in a friendly, non-evaluative, and supportive environment. If you’re a current student interested in becoming a peer tutor, fill out the application on Handshake (Writing) and (Math)*.

*Please see the link for eligibility and application requirements.

Our peer tutors are an excellent asset! Peer tutors are model students recommended by faculty and Learning Support who thrived in the courses they support. They provide general writing and math assistance to undergraduates. You can find them in Study Tables , Mondays-Fridays* from 1-5 pm Central Time.
*With the exception of summer quarter and holidays.

Please see below for information about the individual peer tutors and the specific courses they support. To meet with a peer tutor, please join them virtually at Study Tables  (or in person in the Learning Support Space: Room 364 at 18 S. Michigan Ave.) as listed.
