National Louis University’s Undergraduate College is for the Bachelor’s Degree-seeking students. The Undergraduate College helps first-time college students, adult degree completers, and transfer students of all ages obtain undergraduate degrees in a variety of fields. National Louis University supports every student with career coaching and academic advising to ensure they leave with not only a degree but also a sense of purpose.
NLU offers 23 undergraduate programs for undergraduate students to choose from.
- First-Time Freshmen: We make the transition as easy as possible by welcoming you into a supportive environment with plenty of resources at your disposal. Our Success Coaches will be with you every step of the way as you work toward completing your bachelor's degree and launching your career.
- Community College Transfers: With a personalized transfer process, generous transfer credit acceptance, and a focus on advancing your career, NLU is a top transfer destination. Our convenient scheduling and variety of learning options make transferring and completing your degree a seamless experience.
- Degree Completers: We ensure that you get credits for previous education, work and life experience to fast-track your undergraduate degree. It's never too late to finish what you started, and we'll help you make it happen.
Students in the Undergraduate College have a flexible schedule that allows them to work and structure their studies around their lives.
Our full-time Undergraduate College students are assigned to a Success Coach on the first day of class. This Success Coach will guide the student throughout their time at NLU regarding their academic studies and career. In addition, career coaching is embedded in each student's course.
Programs are available 100% online, and are also available at our downtown Chicago campus, our Wheeling and Lisle campuses.
Housing is available in apartment style and suite-style dorms at the University Center, located on the downtown Chicago campus. Students do not have to reside on campus to be students at NLU.
The Work Integrated Program is a fast-track, less than 3-year Bachelor’s Degree program designed for working adults. The program allows students to earn academic credit for the work that they already do on a full-time basis.

Yes, all transfer credits we award depend on the number of credits you have from prior college work, but we also award credit for prior learning. This can be in the form of CLEP exams or prior work and life experience that can be applied to your program for academic credit as well.
Yes, various paths of study within the Undergraduate College of National Louis University (i.e., Education, Nursing, Psychology, and Business) are stackable, enabling students to continue their studies and obtain graduate and postgraduate degrees.
