Biography:

Dr. Laura Schmuldt is the Interim Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Counseling Department. She has over 25 years of counseling experience in settings including psychiatric rehabilitation, addiction treatment, college counseling centers, and private practice. She has been a Counselor Educator for over 15 years, having taught in public and private institutions, in both virtual, face-to-face, and hybrid courses. She has advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR. She has presented at conferences at the state, national, and international levels and has been published in textbooks and journal articles.
