Teaching Philosophy:

I am particularly attuned to students’ ability to navigate higher education successfully as women, as students of color, as LGBT students, as immigrants or the children of immigrant parents, and as first generation college students, whether they do so as a member of a single group or as a student with multiple identities. I am committed to creating spaces within the classrooms of higher learning institutions to ensure students can learn and grow in safety.
